Our judge, Neal Benezra,
will view all of the images in late August, being projected
with an ultra high-resolution digital projector in a very well organized manner. Once he
has made his selections for the Show, the artists will all be notified on September 2, 2007.
Each artist whose art was selected will arrange to print and frame those selected pieces.
The "ready to hang" framed prints must be delivered to San Diego by September
25, 2007.
PRESENTATION:
Prints need to be framed or have some other form of presentation device and arrive
here "ready to hang". Presentation is very important in our view, so we want to
encourage you to prepare your art very nicely for this gallery exhibit. Each video art
piece which is selected for exhibition in the Show will be displayed on a flat-screen
video monitor mounted on a wall, playing continuously from a hidden DVD player. (Each
flat-screen display will be dedicated to one video). We will provide all necessary DVD
players and flat-screen displays for exhibiting the video art in the Art of Digital Show.
But if you wish to provide your own display hardware (for example, if the display is part
of the overall creation), please describe it to us - we will make every effort to
accommodate your display device. The Curator's decision about placement and position of the art in the gallery is final.
